The weather for Roz and Neil’s wedding celebration at the Western House Hotel turned out to be sunny and dry – perfect for a Spring wedding. Roz and Neil a lovely couple with a host of friends to match and wished them all the best for their special day. Roz had a gorgeous dress which suited her perfectly. Thank you Roz and Neil for being to patient and helpful throughout the afternoon.

The weather for Lisa and Charlie’s wedding celebration at the Western House Hotel turned out to be sunny and dry – perfect for a November wedding. Though light disappeared very fast over the course of the afternoon. Lisa and Charlie are a fantastic, happy and friendly couple. Obviously very suited towards each other. They have a lot of friends and family who wished them all the best for their special day. Lisa’s Mum and Dad, Karen and Danny were there, as well as Charlie’s, best men – brothers – Callum and Angus, also Charlie’s Mum and Dad, Anne and Angus. Emma was a very supportive sister and Bridesmaid, who helped Lisa plan her wedding. Drew was a very pretty flowergirl. Charlie, Ewan and Dave were ushers. Lisa had fantastic flowers for her day all done by CREAR Flowers. Well Done to Danny, for a very sincere, funny and excellent speech – a proud Dad and natural speaker.
I captured Isla and Brian’s wedding celebration last December. Isla came back to get some more pictures captured in her home. We were a little tight for space plus Ellie, her energetic dog pretended to be a guard dog – and did a good job! I hope to take many more pictures of Isla with different looks to build on her portfolio. Here are a few from our first shoot using window light or a softlight reflector.
I had an amazing time photographing Julie and John’s wedding celebration at the Carlton Hotel, Prestwick. I always like weddings at this hotel because of the unique lighting opportunities and relaxed atmosphere. They had a lovely, intimate wedding with friends and close family. Thanks Julie and John for making me feel so welcome.
I thought it wasn’t going to happen for their photoshoot as the weather turned miserable. I thought we were going to have to take pictures in a bus shelter or under an umbrella!! However, there was a slight break in the clouds and with a bit of off camera flash we managed to get some light out of very little light. Julie and John are getting married at the Carlton Hotel which will definitely be a fun day!
The night before Charlie and Lisa’s pre wedding photoshoot I looked at the weather report to see if we were going to have fine weather during their shoot. Fortunately the weather was going to be fine in the morning turning into heavy rain for the afternoon – so we were lucky! Charlie and Lisa are getting married at the Western House Hotel – a fabulous venue fitting for an easy going fun loving couple. I am really looking forward to capture their celebration in November.
Yesterday marked the day Nikki and Marc celebrated their wedding celebration at Turnberry Hotel. Scottish weather delivered a bright and sunny day with breathtaking views of Ailsa Craig and Arran. On a day like yesterday you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else and if you were invited to their wedding then your day would be complete! Turnberry Hotel oozes luxury, style and splendor fitting for their fantastic day. Both parents supported the happy couple along with two bridesmaids, three flowergirls, ushers and Marc’s brother as his best man along with Grandparents and guests. They are a wonderful couple so suited to be together and everyone was very happy for them. They are obviously very popular amongst relatives and friends. Thank you for being so patient for a day that started out with so much time, then speeded up to the first dance! Couples are always surprised how fast their day goes but this was a day to remember and cherish for Nikki and Marc.
Had a pleasure of capturing Thomas and Laura’s Wedding Day Celebration at the Carlton Hotel, Prestwick. As we have had really bad weather I didn’t manage to capture their pre-wedding photoshoot. The Carlton Hotel is a fantastic venue full of surprises for great indoor location shots. This helped out immensely because the weather wasn’t so great – that Scottish drizzle typical of Scotland. However, this didn’t deter Thomas and Laura from having a fantastic day. Thank you, for being so patient on the day as I lead you round the hotel for creative moments!
